Where to Find the Best Pink Beaches in the World

Most of our beaches have either white sand or black sand. Luckily, in some countries, beaches are gifted with pink sand which attracts many travellers from all over the world. Here are some of the best pink sand beaches you can add on your bucket list.

📍 Crane Beach, Barbados

This tropical paradise will leave you in awe. With 400 meters of soft, coral-pink sand, it’s no wonder it’s considered as one of the best beaches in the world. It’s the ideal place to unwind and have fun because you’ll never run out of activities to do here like boogie boarding.

📍 Pink Sand Beach, Caribbean Sea

Aside from swimming and admiring its sand that glows with a pink hue, this beach can offer your other activities such as exploring some historical places like the Marcello Tower nearby. You can also treat yourself and enjoy delicious food from several beach bars here.

📍 Playa de Ses Illetes, Spain

Spend your day at this beach gazing at the scenic view during sunset and the luxury yachts moored offshore. If you get tired from swimming at the turquoise-colored beach water, you can spoil yourself a little and dine at the fancy seaside restaurants around the area.

📍 Sila Island, Philippines

Considered as one of the prettiest beaches in the Philippines, Sila Island is surrounded by coconut trees and stone formations. Aside from its pink, powdery sand, you’ll also fall in love with its crystal clear water and quiet surroundings. Snorkeling and scuba diving are some of the activities you may do on your stay here.

📍 Tangsi Beach, Indonesia

Tangsi beach is one of the few pink beaches in the world. While the sand on this beach is no different from your typical white sand beaches, the sea water brings dead red coral fragments to the shore, giving the sand a beautiful, pinkish hue. You can do swimming and snorkelling, diving and island hopping or tour the cliffs surrounding the area and see beautiful sceneries while enjoying the shore breeze.
