Discover These Uncrowded Beaches near Manila

 

A good way to relax and de-stress is to go on a beach trip—except life can get busy and sometimes going away doesn’t go well with your work schedule. Luckily, you don’t have to go far just to get your much needed nature therapy. We’ve gathered a few beaches near Manila for a perfect day trip with your friends.

 

📍Carabao Island, Maragondon, Cavite
🕒Travel time: 2 hours and 30 minutes

This Batanes like island known as Fort Frank is just near Manila. Unlike your typical island, Carabao Island has a rocky shore and its location makes it perfect for trekking. You can also check out the network of tunnels here and explore the bunkers underground.

 

📍Hermana Mayor and Menor Islands, Zambales
🕒Travel time: 3 hours and 30 minutes

Hermana Mayor and Menor Islands are one of the lesser-known islands in Zambales. They are the perfect place if you just want to relax because unlike the other beaches in Zambales, they are less crowded. Hermana Menor has powdery sand and clear water ideal for snorkelling. Another main attraction in the island is its long stretch of sandbar. Thirty minutes away is Hermana Mayor which is privately-owned. It has a golf-course, man-made lake, and some cottages in the area.

 

📍Sepoc Beach, Tingloy, Batangas
🕒Travel time: 2-3 hours

If you don’t want to go for a swim, there are some activities that you can do here like snorkeling. You may also explore around the area or climb up the large hill which has a fantastic view on the top.

📍Alibijaban Island, San Andres, Quezon
🕒Travel time: 10-12 hours

The traveling time to reach this island may be long, but its picturesque and scenic view makes it all worth it. You can go island hopping, tour at sandbar and explore the mangroves while you’re there. Watching the sunrise/sunset here is also a must!

 

📍Apuao Islands, Camarines Norte
🕒Travel time: 8 hours

If you’re into major relaxation, this island located in Camarines Norte is perfect if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of crowded beaches. The beaches here are peaceful and calm making it perfect for camping and chilling under the pine trees.
